This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. Participants earn points by playing Slots or Tables whilst using their Silverstar Rewards card.
  5. This promotion is open to all Silverstar Rewards cardholders. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration only points earned during the promotional period will be considered (01 – 29 June 2024).

  1. Qualifiers may not be drawn more than once on the same day in any of the finalist draws in this promotion. In the event that a qualifier is drawn more than once, a redraw will be done.
  2. Finalists and/or Prize winners will be selected by way of random selection for all draws. Draw times and dates will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  3. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through advertising mediums for this promotion.
  4. All Participants are required to be present on the respective dates/times to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced in the casino, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorised in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Guest Relations Desk.
  5. Participants or duly authorised representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement, and must produce the valid ticket entry and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g. a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should Participants or duly authorised representatives not present themselves within 90 seconds Authorised representatives shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
  6. Players stand a chance to win by actively playing Slots and/or Tables whilst using their Silverstar Rewards cards, during the prescribed times of the individual casino Bonus Jackpot sessions.
  7. Bonus Jackpots – Silverstar Rewards cardholders:
    • Cardholders must be active on the day during Bonus Jackpot sessions to qualify for Bonus Jackpots
    • These sessions will award winners randomly from both Slots and Tables games.
    • Each random winner will be presented with unmarked envelopes, each containing a cash value.
  8. The Random Active Player Selector (‘RAPS’) application is used to select Bonus Jackpot session participants that have qualified at a particular Slot machine or Table game.
  9. The criteria set, to meet the minimum player activity requirements in order for a random winner to be selected at a Slot machine or Table game, is determined by the Rewards Programme tier targeted on the day specified.
  10. Participants who have met the qualifying criteria, must be actively playing at a Slot machine or Table game during the Bonus Jackpot sessions in order for the RAPS application to identify the player as a Bonus Jackpot session qualifier. A winner is selected from the pool of Bonus Jackpot session qualifiers. This process is repeated for each selection.
  11. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  12. A register will be available at the Rewards Guest Relations Desk on the day of the Bonus Jackpot sessions for the period between the Bonus Jackpot sessions, before each session starts, where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for the sessions on the day or when the prize winners are announced on that day.
  13. Participants must register to decline to be present during the winner announcement, in person. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule. Positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by participants when completing this register.
  14. In the event that the eligible prize winner is no longer at the gaming device when the promotions crew arrive at the same, an announcement will be made for that prize winner to present himself or herself at the place of draw within 90 seconds from the time of the announcement.
  15. Prescribed proxy nomination forms will be available for this purpose from 12h00 on the day of the draw until the start of the draw for which the proxy is to be nominated. Proxy nomination forms will be available at the Customer Services Desk.
  16. No person may be drawn as a finalist more than once on any particular draw day. Therefore, no one person may occupy more than one of the five finalist positions. A redraw will be done should a finalist be drawn for a second, third, fourth etc. time.
  17. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised.
  18. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw, then nominates a representative, the Casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the register or otherwise readily available.
  19. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the Customer Services Desk at the casino where the prize(s) were won.
  20. Prize winners will have 15 days from the draw date to claim winnings. Should the prize winner not claim the prize within 15 days from the day of the draw, the prize will be forfeited.
  21. Collectively this promotion will see over R900,000.00 in Cash and prize giveaways.
  22. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  23. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  24. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  25. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  26. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
