CowFish opened its first store in the trendy ‘foodie’ village of Hazelwood, Pretoria in June 2017.
They’ve already broken new ground in the South African dining market to combine two specialised cuisines in a vibey, trendy atmosphere. Eat your burger with a sushi starter and a side of dim sum, because… why not? Their patrons wash it all down with one of their delicious cocktails because there are no foodie rules or categories in this dining experience. It’s experimental, fresh and surprising.
Their menu can only be described as adventurous and bold, with items such as their famous Tomahawk Steak: “ 600g Ribeye on the bone”. Don’t leave without trying their Navy Marine Burger: “160g Pure Beef with Barbeque, 3 grilled Scrirachia Prawns, Emmenthaler cheese, Spicy Mayo and lettuce.
Through experience in the industry and expert knowledge of seafood and sushi, mixed with a deep understanding of the burger and steakhouse genres; the owners created this new approach to dining with a brand new concept.
