Live At Barnyard Silverstar

After a successful show at The Silverstar Barnyard in 2022, Afrikaans heartthrob and singer/songwriter Brendan Peyper, the bull from Bloemfontein is back with his latest album “Insomnia”.

‘INSOMNIA’ is the second single and also the title of Brendan Peyper’s new mini album after the release of his hit, ‘Meisies Soos Jy’. Brendan wrote all the songs on the EP and it is a mix of sokkie, organic sounds and modern pop. Insomnia has that clever, minimalist, “techno bump” sound, but written within the pop genre. The title track is a bit darker than usual, but don’t worry ladies, it still fits safely within that young adult space. The song feels like an innocent longing for love. ‘Insomnia’ is an appropriate title, because once you play it you will probably have a hard time sleeping with all these newly engraved fresh “hooks” in your head.

Apart from his music releases, Brendan has been touring and shaking up the masses, including a successful two-week Namibian tour as well as a two-week Cape Town tour and following that, he hit the seas for #NETMATRIEKS-BOOTREIS 2022 which is a party cruise for matriculants to celebrate the end of school.

Brendan has also made it as one of the top 6 duos as he competes in Tropika Island of Treasure with his consumer contestant partner Melo Moloto. While his team has had their ups and downs throughout the series, Brendan came out on top as the top-ranking All-Star at the beginning of the season and shows no signs of slowing down
