With up to R1,6 MILLION up for grabs including a brand new MYSTERY CAR and progressive jackpots! Earn points with your Black Rewards card and stand a chance of winning on our weekly cash draws or better yet possibly driving away with a beautifully designed, brand new Mini S Cooper!  Draws will take place every Friday at 21h00 starting from 06 October to 15 December 2023.

This promotion will introduce a progressive jackpot element and a car that could be won at any one of the weekly draws, essentially every draw will be a “potential car draw “as the car could be won. The progressive jackpot element will start at a base value of R50k and increase weekly by the value of the prize not won at the respective draws.

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. Participants earn points by playing Slots or Tables whilst using their Silverstar Black Rewards card.
  5. This promotion is open exclusively to Silverstar Black Rewards cardholders. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration only points earned during the promotional period will be considered (29 September – 15 December 2023).
  6. Qualification criteria:
    • Weekly Draws: 3,000 Points
  7. Points earning is calculated as per the set criteria applicable to the relevant rewards card “system” used during respective periods of the promotion. Change during the duration of the promotion, the earning criteria will be adjusted accordingly, to ensure participants are not disadvantaged.
  8. The Progressive Jackpot is a cash and FreePlay amount that will increase over the course of this promotion. The Cash and FreePlay Progressive values will start at a base value of R50,000 and R10,000 respectively. 5 winners will be drawn at each of the weekly Cash and FreePlay draws, however, 8 prize reveal devices will be available for these winners to choose from. The Cash and FreePlay progressive values will increment by the Cash and FreePlay values contained in the 3 unopened prize reveal devices at each draw.
  9. Should the car not be won in the cash and FreePlay draws, then 80% of the cash and FreePlay progressive jackpot amounts will be won in the Progressive Jackpot draw on 08 December, with the remaining 20% being allocated over to the guaranteed car draw on 15 December.
  10. In the event that the car is won in the cash and FreePlay draws, then the entirety of the progressive jackpot cash and FreePlay amounts will be won on 08 December.
  11. The Cash and FreePlay amount to be given away in the Progressive Jackpot draw on 8 December 2023 (whether it be the 80% or 100% of the Cash and FreePlay progressive values as per rule 8. and 9. above) will be split amongst the 5 winners in accordance with the following table:

  1. The car to be given away in this promotion may be won at any one of the weekly Cash and FreePlay draws. 1 of the 8 prize reveal devices available for selection at the weekly Cash and FreePlay draws will contain a “Mystery Car” decal in addition to the standard prize in the promotion. Any guest revealing this “Mystery Car” decal will not only win their standard prize in the promotion but will also progress to the Mystery Car Bonus Round.
  2. Winners qualifying for the Bonus Round will be presented with 15 prize reveal devices to choose from. 1 of the 15 prize reveal devices will be for the car, whilst the other 14 will be consolation prizes of R5,000 FreePlay.
  3. Qualifiers may not be drawn more than once on the same day in any of the finalist draws in this promotion. In the event that a qualifier is drawn more than once, a redraw will be done.
  4. Should the car not be given away in any of the weekly Cash and FreePlay draws, an additional draw will be held on 15 December where the car will be guaranteed. Should this draw take place, then 20% of the Cash and FreePlay progressive values will be given away as 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes with the car constituting the 1st
  5. The Cash and FreePlay amounts given away as 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes will be split between the winners as follows:

  1. Finalists and/or Prize winners will be selected by way of random selection for all draws. Draw times and dates will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  2. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through advertising mediums for this promotion.
  3. All Participants are required to be present on the respective dates/times to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced in the casino, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorised in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Guest Relations Desk.
  4. Participants or duly authorised representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds for from the time of the announcement, and must produce a valid ticket entry and a positive and acceptable form of identification e.g. a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or another official form of identification as approved by the casino and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should Participants or duly authorised representatives not present themselves within 90 seconds Authorised representatives shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
  5. Prescribed proxy nomination forms will be available for this purpose from 09h00 on the day of the draw until the start of the draw for which the proxy is to be nominated. Proxy nomination forms will be available at the Customer Services Desk.
  6. No person may be drawn as a finalist more than once on any particular draw day. Therefore, no one person may occupy more than one of the five finalist positions in any draw during this promotion. A redraw will be done should a finalist be drawn for a second, third, fourth etc. time.
  7. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised.
  8. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw, then nominates a representative, the Casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the register or otherwise readily available.
  9. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the Customer Services Desk at the casino where the prize(s) were won.
  10. Prize winners will have 15 days from the draw date to claim winnings. Should the prize winner not claim the prize within 15 days from the day of the draw, the prize will be forfeited.
  11. Collectively this promotion will see over R1.6M in Cash and prize giveaways.
  12. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  13. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  14. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  15. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  16. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
